Wedding Highlights: Jaclyn & Dom 8/11/18

Another wedding season is slowly coming to a close, but we still have many beautiful love stories to share with everyone from this year! This summer was full of so many gorgeous weddings that we were so happy to be a part of, including Jaclyn & Dom's.

This couple is actually a friend of our awesome employee Jessica, so it was really cool to be able to help out someone that we know from our personal lives, and let our professional side come into play to make their wedding a dream come true.

On August 11th, 2018, Jaclyn and Dom made their lifelong commitment to one another in the presence of family and friends. Their ceremony and reception were both held at The Channel Club in Monmouth Beach, NJ, a very popular wedding venue in NJ.

The services that we were able to provide Jaclyn and Dom were our Wedding Day Planning Prep Package, Flowers, Ceremony, Cocktail and Reception Decor (Flowers/Centerpieces/Etc.), an Officiant (we promise we are almost done.. and yes we offer ALL of these services and so many more!), Pianist, String Trio, Photo Booth, a Butterfly Release, Transportation, and Hair!

Jaclyn's bridal bouquet was rounded with all blush roses wrapped with off white and gold ribbon, while Dom's boutonniere was a white rose tipped in gold and greens sprayed gold with stems showing. When you choose your flowers, while it might be difficult to decide, ultimately remember what feel you want your whole day to have. You might have a certain theme, or just a color scheme, and we can work with you to suggest flowers that fit your unique style. Pinterest is also your BFF when it comes to this!

Sometimes, it's tricky to plan an outdoor wedding, because Mother Nature might have other plans! While Jaclyn and Dom's ceremony was supposed to be outside, it had to be moved inside due to the weather, but a little rain didn't matter as their ceremony was still picture perfect. We decorated their arch with blush, white and gold flowers with tulle draped on the top and sides. The details of the day flowed seamlessly to create the perfect look that the couple wanted. Our couple had both high and low centerpieces for their cocktail hour and reception, which we designed as well. What kind of centerpieces do you prefer?! We have mixed votes here at NJWP, because both are gorgeous, and as always, it depends on the type of ambiance you want to create. High centerpieces are very elegant and dramatic, while low centerpieces still make a bold statement. Tough decision!

This low centerpiece is made of white hydrangea, blush roses and greens sprayed gold.

Aside from all of the gorgeous decor, guests were treated to the soothing sounds of live music thanks to a pianist and awesome string trio! These guys and gals know how to rock. Again, the type of entertainment you have at your wedding is a matter of preference. You can have just a DJ, you can have a DJ and some live music... no matter what you choose, we know you and your guests will have a fabulous time!

Another fun element to any wedding or event is a photo booth! Our photo booth experience is completely customizeable. Jaclyn and Dom went with an enclosed inflatable LED booth instead of the very popular open air one. We love both!

Have you ever thought about having fresh flowers on your cake? If you haven't before, you should now. An addition of fresh flowers as decor on your wedding cake are absolutely beautiful. Just take a look at Jackie & Dom's gorgeous cake...

Last but definitely not least, signature drinks have become super popular at weddings. These are special drinks dedicated to the newlywed couple and is a fun way to start off cocktail hour! There are sooo many different combinations for signature drinks, but it all depends on what you like. Just have fun with it! What would be in your drink?
