Wedding Highlights: Allyson & Juwan 7/14/18

Do you remember when you had your first crush, but you were too scared to tell them you liked them? Maybe you were worried that they didn't feel the same way, so you never said a word for fear of rejection. As we get older, we learn that life is all about taking risks. Love is about taking risks. Sometimes, you have to put your heart on the line for those few seconds to ensue a lifetime of happiness.

If our couples never took that risk, who knows what their lives would be like. Their paths lead to each other, and now they can take this journey hand in hand, forever.

Allyson and Juwan took that risk!

Our beautiful couple tied the knot on July 14th, 2018 at The Sterling Ballroom in Eatontown, NJ where both ceremony and reception were held. The services we provided were Flowers, Decor, Photo (Andrew) and Video (Dennis).

Allyson's bridal bouquet was a free form hand tied bouquet made up of white monte, lavender roses, lavender lizzy, purple larkspur, and white ranunculus wrapped in burlap and lace. We love the combination of white, purple and lavender!

Her bridesmaids bouquets were made to match, and included lavender roses, lavender freesia, white ranunculus, and light purple larkspur wrapped in dark grey.

Juwan's boutonniere consisted of green succulents with light purple larkspir, baby's breath and seeded eucalyptus. His groomsmen had the same, minus the eucalyptus. Usually, the groom's boutonniere is made to stand out, even if it's with one extra type of flower or additional piece. And no, boutonniere's do not have to just be made of roses!

*We decorated this trellis with white tulle that was draped in the front and the two flowing corner flower pieces in seasonal flowers that were made to match our bride and groom's colors!

In addition to photography, our couple booked videography with us. We have a special two hour Ceremony Package for anyone who does not want video footage of their whole entire day, but would like to have their ceremony remembered. We are the only company in New Jersey who offers this package, and our couples love it!

We honestly love so, so many of the photos that were taken throughout the day, but we don't want to bombard you with them in this blog. You'll just have to follow us on Facebook or Instagram to see more as we post them! Trust us.. it's worth it!

After the beautiful outdoor ceremony, family and friends gathered to celebrate the newlyweds. Would you prefer having your ceremony and reception in the same location like Allyson and Juwan? That's definitely becoming more and more common!

The first dance as a newlywed couple is always a beautiful moment. What would be the song you choose as your first dance? If you're already married, what was your song?

The hardest part of the day was over, and it was time to celebrate! Allyson and Juwan partied with family and friends throughout the night in celebration of their marriage.

*Hmm.. we wonder what song they were gettin' down to!
