Have you noticed how popular barn and farm weddings have become within the last few years? These nontraditional wedding locations allow couples to have a completely empty canvas to work with. The open atmosphere of a barn or farm wedding is something that cannot be met within a closed venue, which is another reason why barn and farm weddings have become the latest trend in nontraditional weddings. Who wouldn't love to sit by a bonfire or play corn hole at a wedding?

Megan knew that she wanted to use her aunt's property for her wedding since she was a little girl. She loved the horses, chickens and outdoor landscape of her gorgeous backyard. Once Megan got engaged to the love of her life, Nick, she knew she had her location set, but needed help with vendors and planning; Megan and Nick found us, and we were the perfect fit to help them plan and coordinate their beautiful farm wedding. From day one, we were in constant contact with our couple and their vendors to ensure we would bring their vision to life on their big day. There is nothing we love more than listening to all of your ideas and making them a reality!

Megan and Nick got married on September 23rd, 2017, at the Brown Farm in Califon, NJ, on a warm and sunny fall day.

Not only did we provide a Full Day of Coordination for our couple, we also provided Flowers, Centerpieces, Photography by Jonathan, a DJ by Anthony M., Catering by Charles, and Rentals! We had a lot of ground to cover.

On Megan and Nick's wedding day, we had a full itinerary for detailed set-up, vendor arrival and timing of all events from ceremony to reception. This is always included when you hire us as day of coordinators! Our itinerary helps keep us on track for every single moment of the day.

Megan's bridal bouquet was made up of orange carnations, navy berries, greens, baby's breath, and orange mums wrapped in burlap ribbon with lace.

Our couple had their first look prior to their ceremony. Our photographer, Jonathan, was there to capture every moment leading up to the bride and groom's big reveal. Megan and Nick had so much fun taking photos, and both of their personalities completely shined through; they are such a laid back, fun-loving couple, and it is clear that they belong together.

The wedding theme was very much fall inspired, from the colors to the décor. Megan and Nick got married under an arch that was decorated with autumn flower garland. Hay bales with lace covers were used as seating, where guests watched the ceremony. Pumpkins and mums were placed in front of the arch and leading down the aisle...we LOVE fall décor!

The party actually started during the ceremony, where our DJ Anthony M. was asked to play different songs as the wedding party walked down the aisle. For instance, Hey Brother by Avicii played as the groomsmen and their dates walked down the aisle. Before Megan came out, Intermission by Offspring played as comedic relief, followed by Love You till the End by the Pogues as Megan made her entrance and walked down the aisle as a bride. The couple even had a special four-legged friend join in on the ceremony!

After the ceremony, guests retreated to a tented area to enjoy music, food, and good company in celebration of the new bride and groom. We put together centerpieces for the tables consisting of baby's breath, orange carnations, and mums in mason jars. The fall colors are gorgeous!

This Sweetheart Table consisted of fall flower swag greens, baby's breath, and cream and orange flowers. The arrangement of this table was captivating, adhering to the fall theme. We love arranging these Sweetheart Tables, and they always look so different depending on the couple and theme of the wedding.

After an evening of dancing, laughing, great food, and a roast (Megan and Nick wanted their bridal party to roast them instead of giving a toast! How cool!), it was time for the cake cutting. We will let the pictures speak for themselves!

"Karissa and Jessica were an absolute pleasure to be working with. They put in so much effort to make sure my wedding vision came to life. They always made it their #1 priority to make sure we were satisfied and were extremely cooperative with us. They are absolutely wonderful. Will recommend this company to anyone creating an event. Beautiful job." ~ Megan

It warms our hearts knowing that we were there to help plan and coordinate such a special day. Megan and Nick, we loved working with you on your beautiful wedding and wish you a lifetime of happiness always!

xoxo,

Karissa, Jessica & Lisa
