Have Mercy, John Stamos Is Engaged!

Did you hear the sound of hearts breaking all over the world? It's engagement season, even for celebrities! John Stamos, most famous for his role as lovable and handsome Uncle Jesse on Full House and Fuller House, popped the question to his girlfriend actress Caitlin McHugh in the happiest place on earth: Disneyland.

Stamos announced his engagement via Instagram on October 23rd by posting a drawing of him and his now-fiancé in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland with the caption: "I asked...she said yes! ...And we lived happily ever after💍" Swoon!

A rep for Stamos said he proposed after showing McHugh a montage of romantic scenes from Disney films, ending with a special message from The Little Mermaid's Sebastian, encouraging Stamos to 'just ask the girl.' Of course, she said yes!

Both Stamos and McHugh are huge Disney lovers, so a magical proposal in Disneyland seemed like the best fit for these two love-birds, who have been dating on the down low since last year. After his marriage to Rebecca Romijn, Stamos remained a bachelor for a very long time, but has clearly found someone that his heart decided on forever with, even captioning his latest Instagram post with 'Forever.'
