10 Tips for the Day of Your Wedding!

The day of your wedding can be nerve-wrecking and stressful! Here at NJ Wedding Pros we want you and your new spouse to have the best day of your lives. We put together 10 important tips for the Day of Your Wedding!

1.Go to bed early. Wake up early.

Make sure to go to sleep early the night before so that you can get a head start the morning of. You want to have enough time to get ready to reduce the stress of rushing!

2.Have a well balanced breakfast high in protein & complex carbs.

Its important to ensure you have enough energy to go throughout the day. Brides and grooms tend to go a long period of time without eating on their big day.

3.Wear a dress shirt when having your hair & makeup done.

Brides often wear tank tops or t shirts and then struggle getting it over their head once their hair and makeup is done! Save yourself the hassle and wear a loose button down dress shirt that can easily come off.

4. Pack flats.

As much as we all wish we could withstand heels all night long, everyone reaches that point in the night where we just need to take them off. Bring a nice pair of Angela Nuran flats for if/when that moments happens to you.

5. Link arms & stick with your new spouse.

Sure you can go off and mingle alone at points but make sure not for too long! You want to make and have these memories together. And its so much easier on the photographer!!

6. Spend a moment alone with your parents.

This is not only a big day for you, but also them. Its the day they watch their little girl walk down the aisle with their partner and start a whole new life. Cherish a moment with them, they'll appreciate it and so will you.

7. Arrange group photos at the Reception.

Have the DJ call over groups of people- High school friends, sorority sisters, etc. and get those fun group pictures!

8. Make sure all your favorite songs are played.

Don't forget to have fun at your wedding, Have the DJ play all your favorite songs and belt your heart out with your soulmate and all your closest friends and family.

9. Squeeze in an intimate moment with your new partner.

You both will be bombarded with hellos from everyone and as great as that is, you can forget why you're both there too begin with! Have a separate limo to yourselves, take a break in the suite during cocktail hour, or take a walk during the reception and reflect on this special moment together.
