Wedding Highlights & Advice- 2016
This past year was filled with so many incredible couples! We wanted to take the time to highlight some of our 2016 weddings and asked our newlyweds to provide helpful planning advice for couples who just got engaged!

~Try to have a timeline and stick to it.

When we started looking for vendors for our wedding we realized what a stressful process it was going to be dealing with so many different people. We heard about NJ wedding pros in a celebrations magazine and it was the best decision we could've made! They made the planning process so much easier and stress-free! Instead of having to meet with a number or vendors, we let NJ wedding pros handle most of the process. Karissa made herself available at all times and answered all of the questions that we had. If an idea popped into my head I shared it with her and they made it happen. NJ wedding pros provided us our limo service, flowers, DJ, lighting, and photography as well as a couple decorations. The vendors were outstanding and very professional. We really enjoyed working with our photographer and DJ. The flowers were fresh and absolutely beautiful. They were exactly what I had envisioned. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and had so many of our guests raving about it. We would recommend NJ wedding pros for any event! We will definitely be using their services in the future!
Tips from Karla:
~Start the planning early because you always think you have enough time and before you know it you're just a couple months away from the wedding with so much left to do!
~Remember to take photos with your family because it's easy to forget to do that with so much going on at the wedding.
~Wedding planning organizers (binders) are great and can help you stay on track with your wedding. Most of the books provide you with a month to month check list and remind you of small important details you might have not thought of!
~Make tip envelopes for your vendors before the wedding is very helpful. That way on the day of the wedding you can just designate one person to hand out the envelops to your vendors!

Karissa was great to work with! She helped me with my flowers and led me through the whole flower process. It takes me forever to make decisions and she was very patient with me! She was always available to answer my questions and talk with me!
Tips from Amy:
~My advice for future brides is go for what you want and make it happen! It took me forever to find my venue because I didn't want to settle on something that I knew when I looked back on I wouldn't be thrilled with. I used this philosophy throughout my entire wedding planning process and it made the day absolutely perfect.
~I also made my own weddings signs (for signature drinks, card table, thank-you, etc.) and I don't think I would make that same decision again. It took WAY more time than I had anticipated and it added more stress. I think next time I would just pay for signs (etsy has so many options)."
All three couples we mentioned also have a special place in my heart! One couple was so sweet and we had so much fun with their wedding that they recommended us to several of their friends. The other two ladies I grew up with and are wonderful people!
I was honored to help them with their special day!
