You found it! The venue is a beautiful Miami beach overlooking the Biscayne Bay. The
flowers are sweet and elegant. The food promises to be divine and please even the
toughest critic. The dessert will send your guests over the moon. The linen is simple
and sophisticated. The invitations have been sent out, reminding people to "save the
date!" for your tropical escape. You have your wedding party picked, with all your best
friends. It promises to be a perfect wedding day.

However, how do you find the key element that will set your wedding day apart from so
many others who have the same idea? How do you pick the centerpiece of the
ceremony in your Miami wedding venue on the beach; your dress and shoes?
Everyone will turn when the music begins and be looking at how lovely you look, so
there are some easy ways you make sure you grab their eyes, and melt your soon to be
partner for life's heart.
The most important thing in choosing a dress is comfort
If the bride is not comfortable, then it could be a jaw dropping gown, but no one will look
past her discomfort. Find a style that you feel like you could wear for hours, because
you will be. There are simple styles that flow in the breeze, like the ocean waves, and

beach so it may get slightly sandy on the bottom. Although ballgowns are a little more of a
palace wedding feeling, they can still be elegant. A simple Aline will compliment the natural beauty of your body, like the sand to the ocean. A trumpet or
mermaid will give you a fitted curve with the glamour of the ballgown. There are also
different waistlines, so be sure to keep in mind that where the waistline is will determine
what is accentuated. Again, pick a dress that you think will make your partner's
heart stop, and you feel like a bride wearing.
When choosing a color...
...be sure to be conscious of the rest of your color pallet! Choosing between different

to the colors of your flowers and linens. Be sure you consider all the different elements
before choosing between pure white, eggshell, creme, or any other option.

you want a heel, and if so how high. Again, you are on the beach, and walking in sand
in heels can be a challenge. Open toe is more summery and beachy but closed toe
could be just as tasteful, again choose what you are comfortable wearing. What a
